Robert Ramsauer is the Chief Operating Officer of Private Equity, based in New York.  

Since joining Blackstone in London in 2004, Mr. Ramsauer has been involved in and served on the boards of several Blackstone investments including Gerresheimer, Leica, Mivisa, New Skies, Orangina Schweppes, Tangerine, United Biscuits, Versace and ISD. 

Before joining Blackstone, he worked at Credit Suisse First Boston in London. Mr. Ramsauer received a BSc in Philosophy and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.  He serves as Trustee of The Blackstone Charitable Foundation as well as of Impetus, a charitable foundation which provides resources to improve the lives of children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
