Matthew Higbee is a Managing Director of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group and a member of its Special Situations Investing Group.

Before joining Blackstone in 2019, Mr. Higbee worked at KKR. Mr. Higbee started his career at Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Higbee received a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bristol and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
