Alan Greenbaum is a Managing Director of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group and the Chief Operating Officer of the Special Situations Investing Group.

Before joining Blackstone in 2019, Mr. Greenbaum was Chief Operating Officer at Schonfeld Strategic Advisors, LLC.  Prior to Schonfeld, he was Managing Director of Operations & Treasury at Visium Asset Management and Operations Manager at Touradji Capital.  Mr. Greenbaum began his career at Merrill Lynch. 

Mr. Greenbaum received a BA in Economics from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
