Joe DeFalco is a Managing Director of BAAM and COO of BAAM Platform Operations. Prior to that, Mr. DeFalco headed BAAM’s Business Strategy & Operations team,  served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Special Situations Investing Group within Hedge Fund Solutions and was involved in performing operational due diligence and monitoring procedures on underlying hedge fund managers from a business/financial perspective.

Before joining Blackstone in 2007, Mr. DeFalco was an Assurance Manager in PricewaterhouseCooper’s Alternative Investment Fund practice. Mr. DeFalco received a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also received a MS in Accounting from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and is a Certified Public Accountant.
